I anticipated a string of busy days which quickly turned into weeks, and bla bla bla, here I am and I finally have a chance to blog. I haven't even been on blogger since I last left it. And not to worry I'm leaving the circle, it's not to say I've lost interest in Twilight (I only wish that would finally happen so I can get a life), I've simply had no time. Let me just put that statement into perspective:
I only just caught up on the last four episodes of The Vampire Diaries (*PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ABOUT THE FINALE--I've yet to watch)Wow, how lame, I just realized my priorities are television and food. Anyway, I've never been someone who had no time to do things but I guess if you find the right kind of work, that'll take the time away.
I lost six pounds* in those first two weeks being MIA by the sheer fact there were days I'd come home so late that sleep won over eating a wee morning dinner. Or sometimes I didn't even remember to eat--me--not remember to eat. Not even a donut (Amy and Jennifer get the severity of this).
*I recently gained those six pounds back (you never needed to worry, Lisa!) because my west coast bestie--who decided to go on vacation to Hawaii because I was going to be too busy to entertain her if she came to visit me instead--mailed me the world's largest bag of chocolate covered, toffee covered, whole macadamia nuts, which I carried in my purse to and from work till it was GONE.
I have the last 6 episode of Glee taped, and waiting to be enjoyed with popcorn on a Saturday night.
It so happens that I've been on the hunt for FLAUNT magazine for weeks now. Almost a month to be exact. The man at the Hudson News stand was probably getting tired of me being that girl who'd come in to see if the new issue was out yet, but today was the day. And I have time to write about it!
Now remember, I haven't been in the blogosphere, and this is probably going to be repeat news to most of you but I'm posting it anyway, because I love reading new interviews in shiny new magazines.
First of all, if you're also looking for this and expect to scan for this at the drugstore:
You'd be wrong. You're looking for this:
And then inside of that, you'll flip to this:
Which will then lead you Kristen, who is three covers in.
Here you go:

So one thing that struck a cord was that commentary the interviewer makes about Kristen's "fan" encounter:
No, what's scary is that a grown man (at least twice her age) got up from his table to tell Kristen Stewart that he's a big fan. A fan of what, exactly? Assuming he's referring to the films she's appeared in--and it's probably safe to bet he's only seen the pair of Twilight installments--what does he want in exchange for his hello?
Those are my thoughts exactly--but first--I finally got to see Taylor Swift in concert last week! (V, I'm so glad got to go when she came to your area too, it was SO FUN!)
So Bestie, who I got these tickets for as a Christmas gift, and I went wearing floral and sparkle that is entirely appropriate for such an occasion, and our seats were fantastic! On the floor and dead center. And to our immediate left, we notice that there is a man sitting next to us. A man. A
And what was he doing there? That was in the back of my mind the entire night and any explanation I came up with only varied in degrees of creepiness. It's not right, okay? Taylor Swift is a nice girl, she's only 20, and really, what was he doing?
Other than that, I encourage anyone to see this girl on concert. Everyone that goes knows all the lyrics to her songs, she tells stories about fairytales and romances, it's like a girl's night slumber party with singing and dancing and heart confetti. Only Taylor Swift would have heart confetti.

And guess who even made an appearance during Today Was A Fairytale?

I like to think I'm a level-headed, 20-something that happens to like this vampire love story. This blog is dedicated to certain delusions caused by Twilight--the books, the movies, the cast, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Occasionally these ramblings might reveal my other loves: donuts, bedazzling things to sparkle, hair & makeup, and Taylor Swift.

Yay! You're back!!!
I thought it would be a Kristen post, but I thought you would talk about Oprah too. That's ok, that can be your next post! :)
Whenever I read these interviews you post, I understand Kristen even less. I'm glad the interviewer pointed out "so why do you do interviews and take pictures and participate" if it "fucks you over" every day of your life?
I think she's just another human being like anyone placed in a very abnormal situation. She's still very young, but I think she has yet to find a balance of how to handle everything. Easy for me to say obviously since I'm not famous.
Yay! I missed you!!! Sounds like you had your hands full! Hope to see you around twitter one of these nights!
Hey! Welcome back. I love returning to your bog not only because you're interesting, but because it's soooo pretty!
So Taylor L was at Taylor S concert???
And, thanks for the magazine scans. I have yet to get a copy...that and Elle (when it comes out) are next on my list!

Hooray for a new post. It sounds terribly silly to say, but I'm feeling a little happier and better able to start my day after reading it.
Lol @ lose six pounds, gain six pounds. Which leads me to food, which naturally leads me to donuts...the pink ones at Starbucks are so cute. Like some donut creation that popped out of the mind of Taylor Swift.
Gasp, you have not yet seen the finale of TVD?! I will not say anything, but that I still have a TVD package to send to you if you want.
Finally, yes, I find those guys creepy too...they have a right to be there/be a fan, but there's just something unsettling about it.
Amy, you know... I haven't watched Oprah yet! It's on my immediate to-do, like, today ;)
Hi MB!!
Jen I'm looking for the Elle too...so far only Fergie still gracing the covers. Flaunt actually had a couple more editorial pictures I didn't include. It's actually worth the $8.95 I think, they also do features in same issue for Chris Egan, Emilie de Ravin, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Jennifer- I'll be chatting tvd with you shortly!
So happy for you that you got to see taylor s. and taylor l????? Interesting, I was worried about something TL said on Oprah about what he looks for in a girl as being about TS but I hoped it didn't apply. I won't say since you might not have seen Oprah yet.
I think she has really grown as a performer. She was more nervous singing in the romeo and juliet days but I like her music and her spirit, even watched her on SNL.
glad you made your way back,6-/6+

I have an email in my inbox from you AND a post to read?? This is a great day, girlie!
I was only a little worried about you. I may or may not have emailed Amy a few times ;) She played the mom this time around and kept assuring me that everything was fine.
The concert pictures are so clear and you got to record some video. Wow. You had great seats!
And, yes, you need to make it perfectly clear for us - was Taylor L. actually at the concert??
I'm also glad that you finally got your Flaunt magazine. I know how much you've been wanting it. Kristen looks fierce, just like she did for the Interview photo shoot. I didn't read the article, yet, but thanks for scanning it in for us.
I've missed you! (((hug)))
Lisa
I'm back. LOL! Just remembered that I forgot to say that the Flaunt magazine made me think of you Amy ;)
Oh no, let's be perfectly clear--TL was NOT at the concert. Only his adorable face from the Valentines Day scenes he did with other Taylor lol.
Welcome back Sparkle!
After reading this post I realize that I have truly missed you. Your writing style feels very akin to mine - I wouldn't call us wordy but we are comprehensive LOL. I'm so kidding about this and love this post and your blog. You want to see wordy? see my latest post...
Thanks for including the Flaunt magazine info and I love Taylor Swift as well. I didn't care for her SNL prison sketch though.
The whole middle aged guy at her concert brings me back to the Twilight Double standard thing I posted about months back where I discuss how it is seemingly okay for middle aged women to fling themselves at Rob/Taylor L but it is gross the other way around.
Happy you're back in the land of the living :) Looking forward to seeing some wallpapers of yours on twi-mobile - Amy and DreamySim1 have some up now so it's your turn when you have time of course.
Sparkle!! You're back!!!! :-D
You have my favorite Twilight blog..... hands down. Your writing style is great. Your blog design is fabulous and I love the way you weave bits of pieces of your life into your Twilight blog. Its simply awesome!
I'm so happy you got to see Taylor! And floor seats? I'm green with envy. :-) Were you one of the lucky ones who got a Taylor hug during the middle of the concert?? My fav concert moments were the drum sequence, her throwing the chair, the confetti, her dresses, and of course... hearing "White Horse" live which is my favorite song that she sings. My second fav is "Today Was A Fairytale." :-D I'm so happy you finally got to go!!!!
Kristen's Flaunt interview. I loved it. I love her for being uncomprimisingly herself. And I really felt for her disdain of the paparazzi. Have you got to see any of the Oprah interview? The backstage stuff was soo funny and cute!
Glad your back :-) Its such a shame when real life gets in the way of Twilight stuff. LOL.
